Do air coolers work in humid weather?

Air coolers cool by evaporating water. In dry heat they work very well; in high humidity the cooling effect is less. Use cross-ventilation, keep pads clean, and choose a larger tank for long hours.

Best in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi NCR dry months, and many Gulf inland cities. In coastal humidity, run with windows open and expect milder cooling.
