1951
The radio in the corner.
BUSH came to India in 1951, the year before independent India's first general election. Radios carried the news, the film songs and the cricket score.
Transistors went everywhere.
To tea stalls, to the fields, to wedding nights. Wherever life went, BUSH went too.
The first TV in the lane.
Two-in-ones and televisions brought the next generation together around music and the screen.
Back, and upgraded.
After some quiet years, BUSH returns with air coolers, washing machines and smart TVs, built for how India lives now.
