For a bedroom or study, choose the 50-litre Kelly-50. For a living room or family hall, choose a 90 to 110-litre model such as the Big-90, Neon-110 or Super-110. For large halls, shops and commercial spaces, choose the Wave-150, Wave-165 or C-Master-200.

Yes. Every BUSH cooler except the C-Master-200 is listed as running on an inverter, so it keeps cooling during a power cut. The C-Master-200 is listed as an energy saver.

PT means plastic top and GT means glass top. For example, the Kelly-50 White comes as BU-1301-PT (plastic top) and BU-1302-GT (glass top).

The Kelly-50, Big-90, Neon-110 and Super-110 have an ice chamber. The Wave-150, Wave-165 and C-Master-200 use honeycomb cooling pads instead.

Air coolers cool by evaporating water, so they work best in hot, dry air and less well when the air is already humid. Keep a window or door open so moist air can leave the room.

BUSH makes semi-automatic washing machines in 7.5, 8, 8.5, 10 and 12 kg: the SWM75S (in maroon or grey), TW8000, SWM85S, SWM100S and SWM120S.

As a guide: 7.5 kg for one or two people, 8.5 kg for three or four, 10 kg for five or six, and 12 kg for larger families or heavy items like blankets.

The SWM series spins at a minimum of 1300 RPM, so clothes come out drier and dry faster.

The TW8000 is BEE 5-star rated, and the SWM series is shown with a BEE 5-star label in the BUSH catalogue.

BUSH semi-automatic washing machines have a special cover that keeps rats away from internal parts, with an anti-rust design for a longer life.

BUSH LED TVs come in 24, 32, 40, 43, 50, 55 and 65 inches, from HD to 4K UHD.

The 55-inch BHUHD55SPRO and the 65-inch BHUHD65S PRO run Google TV with the Play Store. The 43-inch 4K BHFHD43S runs webOS, and the 32, 40, 43 and 50-inch smart models run Cloud TV.

The 43-inch BHFHD43S, 50-inch BHUHD50S VC, 55-inch BHUHD55SPRO and 65-inch BHUHD65S PRO are 4K UHD (3840 × 2160).

Several do: the 9FSPRO and two BHHD32S 32-inch versions, and every 40-inch and larger BUSH TV, have a built-in soundbar with 20 W output.

Measure from your seat to the wall. Under 5 ft, choose 24 inches; 5 to 6.5 ft, 32 inches; 6.5 to 8.5 ft, 40 to 43 inches; 8.5 to 11 ft, 50 to 55 inches; beyond 11 ft, 65 inches. 4K lets you sit closer.
